Fyld, based in Braga, Portugal, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive automation, streamline deployments, and optimize database routines. You will design shell scripts, manage deployment packages, and support SQL data operations in a Linux/Unix environment.

The role requires Bash scripting skills, Git familiarity, and experience with CI/CD. Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English are expected to collaborate across teams and deliver reliable software in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid hands-on expertise in Linux/Unix operating systems, terminal administration, and command-line interfaces.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and operational automation.
• Practical experience with SQL for data manipulation, queries, and operational database support.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control and familiarity with modern CI/CD deployment routines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute shell scripts (Bash/Unix) to automate repetitive tasks, system workflows, and operational routines.
• Manage and execute deployment packages across various software environments, ensuring strict control and stability.
• Support database operations, executing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, formatting, and processing.
• Partner with development and infrastructure/operations teams to implement continuous integration and delivery best practices.
• Maintain version control repositories and support CI/CD pipelines to guarantee software availability and reliability.
