KCS IT is seeking a mid-level DevOps engineer to join our hybrid team in Lisbon. You will drive CI/CD, automation, and cloud-based deployments, collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or related roles, hands-on Docker, IaC, and strong scripting abilities, with fluent English and a passion for continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or related role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and software delivery processes.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Git and version control, branching and deployment strategies.
• Scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, security, and infra concepts.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with microservices and modern software practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.

The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related role;
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and software delivery processes;
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerized environments;
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies;
• Experience with Git and version control systems, as well as branching and deployment strategies;
• Strong scripting and automation skills using technologies such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python;
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, security, and infrastructure concepts;
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions;
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern software development practices;
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional development teams;
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
