Bee Engineering ICT is seeking an experienced DataOps Engineer to join a team building scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on AWS. The role requires 5+ years in DataOps/Data Engineering/Cloud Engineering, with strong Python or Java skills and extensive AWS experience.

You will work across data ingestion, processing, and storage layers, contributing to CI/CD, security, and reliability. This position offers growth in a dynamic IT consultancy environment in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DataOps / Data Engineer / Cloud Engineer.
• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda).
• Experience with AWS databases (Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB) and IaC (CDK or CloudFormation).
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java and CI/CD practices.

We are looking for an experienced DataOps Engineer to join a team building scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on AWS.

Dare to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
• 5+ years of experience as a DataOps / Data Engineer / Cloud Engineer
• Strong experience with AWS services, including:
• S3, EC2, Lambda
• IAM, Athena, Managed Airflow
• Experience with AWS databases (Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB)
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CDK or CloudFormation)
• Solid experience with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink)
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and TDD
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs, SQS, SNS, Kinesis
• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability principles
• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
