A Arrise, com base em Olhão, procura um Data Scientist / ML Engineer para desenvolver e colocar em produção modelos de ML, transformando dados em insights acionáveis. O candidato trabalhará com pipelines de dados, NLP e DL, contribuindo para a evolução da nossa plataforma de IA.

É valorizada experiência em produção, AWS e MLOps, bem como capacidade de comunicar resultados a stakeholders. O papel oferece formato remoto flexível e participação acionária inicial.

Qualificações

• Licenciatura ou mestrado em Data Science, ML, CS ou área relacionada.
• 5+ anos de experiência em data science ou ML.
• Proficiência em Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experiência com NLP, DL e modelagem preditiva.
• Compreensão de estruturas de dados, algoritmos e manipulação de dados.
• Experiência em produção com modelos ML.
• Conhecimento de cloud (AWS) e ferramentas MLOps.
• Habilidades de resolução de problemas e autonomia.
• Excelentes comunicações com stakeholders não técnicos.
• Experiência com big data (Spark, Dask) é um plus.
• Experiência com séries temporais e detecção de anomalias é um plus.
• Experiência em startups é um plus.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver, treinar e implantar modelos de ML para análise de dados e previsão.
• Colaborar com data engineers para desenhar pipelines de dados.
• Realizar exploração de dados, engenharia de features e pré-processamento.
• Otimizar o desempenho dos modelos para escalabilidade e precisão.
• Aplicar NLP, DL e ML para extrair insights de dados estruturados e não estruturados.
• Validar modelos com A/B tests e métricas de performance.
• Comunicar insights e resultados a stakeholders não técnicos.
• Contribuir para o design da plataforma de IA e roadmap do produto.
• Manter uma mentalidade orientada a produto para melhoria da plataforma.

We're looking for a hands-on, data-driven Data Scientist / ML Engineer to join our team and help empower businesses to unlock the full potential of their data.

About the Role

As a Data Scientist / ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models, transforming complex data into actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. You will play a critical role in shaping our AI capabilities, developing ML models for use within our Enterprise Intelligence Platform. Knowledge of LLM's, RAG and Agents would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for data analysis and prediction
• Collaborate with data engineers to design data pipelines for efficient model training and deployment
• Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and data preprocessing
• Optimize model performance for scalability and accuracy
• Use NLP, deep learning, and traditional ML techniques to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
• Validate models using A/B testing and performance metrics
• Communicate complex data insights and model results to non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to the design and evolution of our AI platform and product roadmap
• Have a product mindset, always looking for ways to improve our platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field, you should have a good grounding in regression and classification problems and the underlying theory.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with NLP, deep learning, and predictive modeling
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data manipulation
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and MLOps tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively
• Experience with big data frameworks (e.G., Spark, Dask) is a plus
• Experience working with time series data and anomaly detection is a plus
• Startup experience is a plus
