KWAN is seeking a Data Engineer in Porto who will build and maintain data pipelines and contribute to data warehousing initiatives. The role blends SQL, Python, and PySpark to deliver scalable data solutions in a hybrid Porto environment.

You will collaborate with the Data Engineering team, follow engineering best practices, and apply automation to streamline data workflows while supporting diverse cloud platforms and distributed processing environments.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with data modelling and data storage (Data Warehouses/Data Lakes).
• Knowledge of Git, code reviews, development patterns, and automation.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Experience with distributed data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Databricks).
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; Porto-based with hybrid role.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain data solutions using SQL, Python, and PySpark or equivalent technologies.
• Contribute to design and implementation of Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices including versioning, reviews, and automation.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing environments.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering processes, tools, and practices.
