CTS Group in Lisbon/Porto is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team. The role focuses on sizing HVAC systems, developing thermal loads, and producing complete system designs for mission-critical data center projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC experience for data centers, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and will work on-site in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. Strong English and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
• Availability to work on-site at Lisbon or Porto is required.
• Strong background in HVAC design for Data Centres and related facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Size air conditioning, ventilation, pump, pipe, fan, and duct systems.
• Develop Thermal Load calculations using tools like IES, HAP, or Trace.
• Create P&ID and PFD diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Select specialist equipment including Chillers, Fan Coils, CRAHs, and AHUs.
• Produce complete system designs from scratch based on technical requirements.
• Write comprehensive technical specifications, reports, and documentation.
• Check designs for compliance with project specifications, contracts, industry standards, and codes.
• Manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and structural requirements.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine concept designs.
• Propose initiatives to improve cost, quality, schedule, and design consistency.
• Provide technical support during the BID process.
