Descrição da oferta de emprego

Descrição do cargo

At Chain IQ, your ideas move fast. Chain IQ is a global AI-driven Procurement Service Partner, headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, with operations across main centers and 16 offices worldwide. We provide tailored, end-to-end procurement solutions that enable transformation, drive scalability, and deliver substantial reductions in our clients' indirect spend. Our culture is built on innovation, entrepreneurship, ownership, and impact. Here, your voice matters - bold thinking is encouraged, and action follows ambition.

We are modernising how analytics, reporting, and operational insight are delivered across the organisation. This role transforms governed data products into trusted, scalable analytical experiences that support decision‑making, operational performance, and future AI-driven workflows.

You will develop semantic models, reporting solutions, and analytical assets that enable users to understand and act on information. While dashboard development remains part of the role, the primary focus is on creating reusable analytical foundations rather than one‑off reports.

This is a hands‑on engineering role within the Data & Analytics organisation. You work closely with Procurement Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Product, and business stakeholders to ensure analytics remain trusted, performant, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical applications that support operational and strategic decision‑making.

Develop and maintain reusable semantic models, business measures, KPI frameworks, and analytical data structures.

Translate business requirements into governed analytical solutions aligned with enterprise data products and standards.

Partner with Procurement Intelligence and business stakeholders to define metrics, reporting requirements, and decision‑support capabilities.

Contribute to the development of self‑service analytics capabilities through reusable datasets, templates, and reporting patterns.

Ensure consistency of business definitions, calculations, and reporting logic across analytical solutions.

Optimize analytical models, queries, and datasets to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Support data quality validation and reporting assurance activities.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and Governance teams to ensure analytical assets align with enterprise data models and controls.

Identify opportunities to simplify reporting landscapes through standardization, automation, and reusable analytical assets.

Contribute to the evolution of analytics capabilities supporting automation, operational intelligence, and AI‑driven experiences.

What You Will Work With

Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise analytics platforms.

Semantic models, KPI frameworks, and governed analytical datasets.

Operational, procurement, financial, and business performance reporting.

Enterprise data products and federated analytics environments.

Data quality, governance, and reporting standards.

Business stakeholders requiring operational and strategic insight.

Cross‑functional collaboration with Data Engineering, Governance, Product, and business teams.

Artifacts & deliverables you should expect

Power BI dashboards and analytical applications.

Reusable semantic models and governed datasets.

KPI frameworks, measures, and business metric definitions.

Reporting standards and analytical templates.

Documentation of business logic, calculations, and reporting assumptions.

Performance optimization recommendations and analytical health metrics.

Self‑service analytics enablement assets.

Recommendations for reporting simplification and standardization.

Requirements

Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and enterprise reporting solutions.

Proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and modern analytics tooling.

Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, analytical design patterns, and business intelligence concepts.

Experience building reusable analytical assets rather than one‑off reports.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.

Understanding of KPI design, metric management, and reporting governance principles.

Experience working with large datasets and analytical performance optimization.

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, semantic models, and modern data platform concepts.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Comfort operating in environments transitioning from traditional reporting toward data products and self‑service analytics.

How We Approach Analytics

We prioritize reusable analytical assets over report factories.

Business definitions should exist once and be reused everywhere.

Reporting should be powered by governed data products and semantic models.

Analytics should support operational decision‑making, automation, and future AI‑driven workflows.

We focus on creating scalable analytical capabilities rather than responding to endless bespoke reporting requests.

Why this role matters

As the organisation expands its data, automation, and AI capabilities, analytics must evolve beyond isolated dashboards and duplicated reporting logic. Without trusted semantic models and reusable analytical assets, decision‑making becomes fragmented and self‑service analytics becomes difficult to scale.

This role ensures that enterprise data products are transformed into consistent, trusted, and actionable insights that support users, operational teams, and future AI‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.
