PrimeIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join an international team in Portugal. You will focus on vulnerability management, security ratings, external attack surface monitoring and cybersecurity risk assessment across internet-exposed assets.

You will collaborate with security experts across regions, produce reports, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Qualys and BitSight is valuable, as is a proactive, analytical mindset.

Qualificações

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert to join an international cybersecurity team in Portugal.

The role focuses on vulnerability management, security ratings, external attack surface monitoring and cybersecurity risk assessment. You will work with internet-exposed assets and contribute to identifying, assessing and reducing cybersecurity risks.

You will join a dynamic, international environment with interaction across different teams, security experts and business entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability scans on internet-exposed assets.
• Monitor and manage security ratings and external security posture.
• Identify and assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities and associated risks.
• Support remediation activities and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and monitor SaaS cybersecurity solutions related to vulnerability management and security scoring.
• Maintain relationships with cybersecurity technology and software vendors.
• Prepare vulnerability and security assessment reports.
• Present cybersecurity findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new cybersecurity solutions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts and teams across different regions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management and security monitoring processes.

Technical Requirements

• Good understanding of IT systems, data and cybersecurity risks.
• Strong knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Security Ratings.
• Knowledge of offensive security techniques and security assessment methodologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity vulnerability scanning and assessment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Knowledge of Qualys and/or BitSight is a strong plus.
• Ability to analyze cybersecurity data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
