iTRTech Group is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Expert for a hybrid role based in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. You will identify vulnerabilities, assess security posture of internet-exposed assets, and coordinate remediation with cross-border teams.

You will work with colleagues in Portugal and France, deliver actionable insights to CISOs, and help protect banking systems through vulnerability management, security ratings, and security tooling measurements.

Qualificações

• Experience analyzing data, IT systems, and cybersecurity risks.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert to join an international team focused on identifying vulnerabilities and assessing the security posture of internet-exposed assets.

Working with colleagues in Portugal and France, you will help protect banking systems by monitoring vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation and providing actionable insights to cybersecurity decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability scans on internet-exposed assets.
• Monitor external Security Ratings and coordinate remediation with relevant entities.
• Manage SaaS solutions for vulnerability scanning and security scoring.
• Maintain scanning tools and manage contractual relationships with software vendors.
• Prepare vulnerability reports and present findings to the CISO Board.
• Evaluate solutions that could complement existing security services.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT risk specialists across the organisation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to analyse data, IT systems and cybersecurity risks, particularly in Vulnerability Management and Security Ratings.
• Proficiency in offensive security techniques and security audit methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power BI and SQL.
• English at B2 level or above, with the ability to participate in meetings and present findings.
• Ability to lead meetings and communicate with different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and summarising skills, with a rigorous approach and attention to detail.
• Teamwork, adaptability and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Qualys and/or BitSight.
• French language skills.

Ideal Profile

You are a cybersecurity professional with experience in vulnerability management and external security assessments, capable of turning technical data into clear reports and practical recommendations.

You combine attention to detail with strong communication skills and feel comfortable working with security tools, coordinating remediation and presenting findings to cybersecurity leaders.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of cybersecurity topics, including interaction with areas such as incident response and penetration testing.
