Avanta Works in Faro, Portugal, seeks a skilled Equipment Operator for a contract assignment. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders and forklifts following safety policies and company procedures.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, coordinating with the team, and performing basic maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid operator's license, and at least two years of field experience.

Contract Equipment Operator

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team on a contract basis. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move, load, and unload materials at various job sites. This includes but is not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts. You must have a valid operator's license and proven experience in safely and efficiently operating equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery according to safety regulations and company policies
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
• Communicate with team members to coordinate movement of materials
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
• Report any malfunctions or damages to supervisor immediately

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid equipment operator's license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar role
• Ability to read and understand instructions and safety guidelines
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Faro, Portugal (Preference for Portuguese or EU citizens)
