BrightMark GmbH in Porto, Portugal is seeking a compassionate Caregiver Assistant to support elderly residents with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment. This entry-level position requires reliability and patience and offers an immediate start.

You will assist with personal care tasks, meals, and light housekeeping, follow care plans, and report changes to the supervising nurse. English is required; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of personal care tasks; training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Portugal.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding if needed.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with residents.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or doctor.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living spaces.
• Follow care plans and accurately document any observations or incidents.
