AbbVie in Amadora, Portugal, is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join our Clinical Operations team in a hybrid role. In this position, you will contribute to the successful delivery of AbbVie clinical studies by building strong partnerships with investigators and site staff, ensuring high-quality study conduct, and supporting the protection and safety of study participants.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or scientific discipline.
• Minimum of one year in clinical research monitoring.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with study teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build partnerships with investigators and site staff aligned with study objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Conduct site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits for Phase I–IV studies.
• Train site personnel on the protocol, study procedures, safety reporting, and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee site activities, identify risks, and support corrective and preventive actions with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely data submission and reporting, while protecting participant safety.
• Support patient recruitment and retention by understanding patient journey and local site realities.
• Identify and evaluate potential investigators and sites using local knowledge and networks.
• Maintain site and study documentation in inspection-ready state.
• Manage investigator payments and expense reports per contractual obligations.
• Contribute to site engagement strategies with local insights and monitoring outcomes.
