Metyis in Porto is seeking a Business Analysis Associate with 3+ years of experience to join our Technology team in Porto on a full-time basis.

You will lead requirements elicitation, analyze business processes, and translate needs into clear BRDs and user stories. The role collaborates with product, project, and engineering teams across client-facing engagements, with travel as required.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in Business Analysis, consulting or related delivery roles.
• Strong BA methodologies and requirements management.
• Able to document BRDs, user stories, use cases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional proficiency in English.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and operational processes.
• Lead requirements elicitation activities through workshops, interviews, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
• Document and maintain business, functional, and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process models.
• Produce high-quality project artefacts including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and decision logs.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into solution requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Architects, Engineers, Designers, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support backlog refinement, solution validation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change impact assessments.
• Ensure requirements traceability from discovery through implementation and business adoption.
• Identify business risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, process walkthroughs, and solution demonstrations.
• Communicate business needs, recommendations, and delivery progress through clear documentation and presentations.
• Support clients through business change and solution adoption by providing structured analysis and recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, delivery standards, and Business Analysis best practices within the Delivery Excellence capability.

What You Will Bring

• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, Product Delivery, Digital Transformation, PMO, or related delivery roles.
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis methodologies, requirements management, business process modelling, and solution lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex business challenges.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Ability to produce high-quality business documentation including BRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel based on client and project requirements.

Good to have

• Experience supporting Digital Transformation, Digital Commerce, Enterprise Technology, Data & Analytics, AI, ERP, CRM, Cloud, or business transformation programmes.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar collaboration platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, data modelling, reporting, Business Intelligence, or analytics concepts.
• Familiarity with business process modelling standards such as BPMN or UML.
• Exposure to Product Management, Project Management, Agile Delivery, Change Management, or Business Architecture.
• Professional certifications such as ECBA/CCBA (IIBA), Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent.
