ACCA Careers is seeking a Risk Manager to establish, operate and continuously develop the internal risk management framework for an investment management company and its funds. The role combines hands-on risk oversight with direct interaction with the Board and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in asset management, strong knowledge of risk frameworks, stress testing and portfolio risk analysis, and professional fluency in Portuguese and English.

Qualificações

• Degree in a finance-related field and strong quantitative skills.
• Experience with risk management frameworks and KRIs.
• Proven ability to challenge and communicate with senior teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain and operate the risk management framework, policies and KRIs.
• Identify, assess and monitor investment, market, liquidity and credit risks.
• Independently assess material investment risks and challenge the Investment team.
• Monitor breach remediation and escalate when needed.
• Perform stress testing and scenario analysis across portfolios.
• Prepare risk reporting to the Board and regulatory bodies.
• Support oversight of outsourced providers from a risk perspective.
• Liaise with Board, auditors and stakeholders on risk matters.
• Ensure risk function remains independent from operations.
