PrimeGlobal in Lisbon is seeking a highly skilled bilingual interpreter to facilitate communication between English and other language speakers during meetings, conferences, and business interactions.

The role requires fluency in English and at least one additional language (Spanish, French, or Chinese) and values strong verbal communication, calmness under pressure, and cultural awareness. Prior interpretation experience or certification is preferred; visa sponsorship is not mentioned.

Qualificações

• Fluency in English and at least one other language (Spanish, French or Chinese) preferred.
• Proven experience as an interpreter or translator; formal education or certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately and tactfully.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Familiarity with different cultures and customs.
• Strong research skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using interpretation equipment (headsets, microphones) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accurate interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions
• Act as a liaison between clients and their non-English speaking counterparts
• Ensure that all parties understand the message being conveyed in both languages
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Conduct research and prepare materials for upcoming assignments
• Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistency and quality of interpretation services
