Data Engineer at TMC is sought to design, build and scale modern data platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will craft scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data lakehouse solutions in Azure, collaborating with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders.

You will ensure data quality, governance and performance while evolving the platform architecture. Portuguese and English proficiency are mandatory; hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto with 1–2 days onsite is offered.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure Data Stack.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python.
• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Experience with PySpark, dbt, Terraform.
• Familiarity with DataOps practices.
• Experience with Power BI or analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Portuguese and English (mandatory).
• Availability for a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto; 1–2 days onsite.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes across Azure-based environments
• Develop and maintain Data Lake, Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts and business stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across the platform
• Implement and improve data governance and monitoring practices
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing data workflows
• Contribute to data architecture and platform evolution initiatives
