Avanade Portugal is seeking an Azure Solutions Consultant to advise clients on governance, design, and implementation of Azure-based platforms. The role focuses on IaC-driven deployments across IaaS and PaaS, leveraging Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, and related services to deliver scalable cloud architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Governance advising to ensure stability and support changing business needs.
• Design, plan, and implement Azure solutions for customers, using IaaS and PaaS with IaC automation.
• Deploy and architect Azure solutions across subscriptions, networking, security, compute, storage, and operations for enterprise projects.
• Leverage Azure infra technologies such as Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Frontdoor, Azure Migrate, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
• Solve complex infrastructure challenges with cloud and on-premises solutions, automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients and teams, translating complex concepts for all stakeholders.
• Automate using IaC tools like ARM, Terraform, Bicep, YAML and scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Engage with clients to craft high-level and detailed designs, defining architectural topologies.
• Apply the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale principles.
• Collaborate in large and small teams to design and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply your expertise in technical and consulting knowledge to advise clients on appropriate governance, ensuring stability and supporting changing business needs.
• Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of Azure solutions at customers, working on projects that utilize the full breadth of the Azure platform with both IaaS and PaaS, deployed with Infrastructure as Code in an automated way.
• Deploy and architect Azure solutions across the Azure platform, including subscriptions/management, networking, security, compute, storage, and operations for major enterprise projects.
• Leverage knowledge of the latest Azure Infrastructure technologies such as Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Frontdoor, Azure Migrate, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline).
• Solve complex technical challenges with infrastructure solutions (cloud and on‑premises, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, cloud technologies), automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills; work directly with clients, alongside a team of consultants, or as part of a client team, translating hard concepts for all stakeholders.
• Implement automation using IaC tools such as ARM/Terraform/Bicep/YAML and scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Engage with and advise clients, craft high‑level and detailed designs, and define architectural topologies.
• Understand and apply the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale principles.
• Work comfortably in both large and small teams to design and implement solutions.
