The Toro Company is expanding its robotics engineering team in Bloomington, MN. You will design and engineer mobile robotic systems with emphasis on software for autonomous applications and integration of advanced algorithms.

Expect work with localization, navigation, and path planning, plus testing and cross-functional collaboration. A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 2+ years in software/robotics are required, with strong C++ and Linux scripting skills.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years in Software, Robotics or Aerospace engineering or similar role.
• Experience with GNSS and sensor fusion.
• Strong C++ background.
• Proficient in GNU/Linux development and scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Design and engineer mobile robotic systems, focusing on software for autonomous applications.
• Develop software for localization, navigation, and path planning.
• Perform algorithm analysis and simulations (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
• Create and support automated testing software.
• Coordinate design for integration into overall architecture.
• Lead decisions on algorithms and production of system software.
• Promote best practices and CI/CD processes.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and report project status.
