Komodo Consulting seeks an Automation QA Engineer to join a technology and strategy firm delivering Digital Transformation projects in Portugal. The role focuses on designing and executing automated and manual tests across the delivery lifecycle, with emphasis on performance testing using JMeter, AI-driven testing techniques, and API testing.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of QA experience, ISTQB certification, strong English (B2), and hands-on use of Selenium, Newman, and related tools.

Qualificações

• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• English level B2.
• 3+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter.
• Experience with AI-driven testing techniques.
• Experience with Selenium and API testing (Newman).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality across the delivery lifecycle;
• Validate functional and non-functional requirements to guarantee system reliability and performance;
• Design and execute performance tests, including load and stress testing, based on non-functional requirements;
• Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks and improvement opportunities;
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to improve overall quality and test coverage;
• Contribute to the design and implementation of test frameworks and continuous quality practices;
• Apply AI-driven testing approaches to optimize test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.
