KCS iT is seeking a Data Engineer - BI in Porto to help design, build and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses and BI reporting solutions. You will work with relational databases, data lakes and cloud environments to enable robust analytics across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data engineering, strong SQL skills, experience with ETL tools and BI reporting, and is fluent in English.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in a Data Warehouse environment with varied data infrastructure, including relational databases and data lakes.
• Strong knowledge in SQL.
• 2+ years building and maintaining data pipelines in a custom or commercial ETL tool (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, ...)
• Proficient in creating and evolving dimensional data models & schema designs for analytics
• Strong programming background in Java, Scala, or Python
• Experience with cloud environments - AWS, GCP, Azure
• Familiar with CI/CD, version control, unit and automated tests
• 2+ years working with BI reporting tools (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Looker)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Skills Needed?

• You have 2+ years in a Data Warehouse environment with varied forms of data infrastructure, including relational databases, and data lakes
• Strong knowledge in SQL
• You have 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining data pipelines in a custom or commercial ETL tool (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, ...)
• Proficient in creating and evolving dimensional data models & schema designs to improve accessibility of data and provide intuitive analytics
• Strong at programming background with languages such as Java, Scala, or Python;
• A professional with background in working in cloud environments - AWS, GCP, Azure, etc;
• You are familiar with in continuous delivery principles: version control, unit and automated tests.
• You have 2+ years working with a BI reporting tool (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Looker, ..)
• You are Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
