Caixa Mágica maintains strong ties with the Portuguese public administration, participating in the development of middleware for the Portuguese Citizen Card system and extending the concept to standardisation and compliance with other European systems. We also maintain close ties with the Innovation and Research departments of various sectors, such as telecommunications and media, energy, mobile systems, and cloud-based platforms to support manufacturing systems.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain Android applications that interact with in-car systems.
• Use Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to implement features and enhance user experiences.
• Apply best practices in software architecture to create clean, scalable code.
• Write unit tests to ensure reliability and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate within the development team to deliver seamless and high-quality apps.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of expeirnece as an Android Developer.
• Android development with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, and XML Layout.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns: MVVM, MVI, MVP.
• Proficiency in unit testing with tools such as JUnit.
• Experience with development tools: Android Studio, Git, Gradle.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
• Based in Portugal.
