Capgemini Engineering in Lisboa is seeking an experienced AIX systems administrator to support and maintain AIX environments for external market clients. You will handle day-to-day administration, incident resolution, and ITIL-aligned operations in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on AIX experience in a corporate environment in Portugal, plus strong communication and collaboration across international teams.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in AIX system administration within a corporate environment in Portugal.
• Solid technical knowledge of AIX operating systems, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in client-facing support roles, with a strong sense of accountability and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural and international teams.
• Knowledge of Linux systems is a valued asset, demonstrating a broader understanding of Unix-based environments.

Responsabilidades

• Providing day-to-day administration and support of AIX operating systems within a corporate client environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical incidents and service requests related to AIX infrastructure, following ITIL best practices and agreed SLAs.
• Monitoring system health, performing routine maintenance tasks, and implementing patches and updates to ensure stability and security.
• Collaborating closely with client teams and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective infrastructure solutions.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation, while optionally leveraging Linux knowledge to broaden the scope of support provided.
