AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon is seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to protect AI/ML workloads and platforms across the enterprise. You will design, implement, and operate security controls spanning data, models, APIs, and tools, collaborating with AI engineers, data scientists, and platform teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering for AI/ML pipelines, CI/CD integration, and cloud-native security across Docker/Kubernetes workloads, with up to 10% travel.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practice.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity/security engineering/cloud security or related field.
• Strong programming/scripting skills to build tooling and automation.
• Strong understanding of authentication, API security, secrets management, cryptography, and supply chain security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS.
• Threat modeling and security testing skills to translate risks into mitigations.
• Understanding of AI/ML systems and AI development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI security risks and GenAI security considerations.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement AI security controls for AI/ML apps, platforms, and APIs.
• Deploy tooling and automation using AWS to integrate security testing into workflows.
• Integrate security into MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines for automated validation.
• Threat model AI systems and translate risks into technical requirements and controls.
• Secure AI systems including RAG, vector databases, tools, and agent workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate AI security tech for runtime protection, testing, and data security.
• Implement security controls across cloud AI platforms and services.
• Secure containerized AI workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) with identity, secrets, and runtime controls.
• Code infrastructure security controls using Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Collaborate with AI/platform teams to remediate threats and issues.
• Support security reviews and provide actionable recommendations.
• Deploy monitoring/detection for AI security events and misuse patterns.
• Develop AI security standards and practical guidance for teams.
