Claranet Portugal is seeking AI Engineers to join our Data & AI team, working on Generative AI, Intelligent Applications and ML-driven use cases across the business landscape.

You will design, deploy, and monitor end-to-end AI solutions, clean and analyze data sources, and benchmark data tools to meet stakeholder needs, while sharing best practices with client teams.

Qualificações

• Fluency in Python and SQL-like data transformation.
• Understanding of GenAI concepts (prompt engineering, chains, agents).
• Familiarity with Langchain and LlamaIndex.

Responsabilidades

• Contributing to an AI team that designs, deploys, and monitors end-to-end ML or Generative AI backed solutions.
• Cleaning, processing, and assessing data sources to extract valuable analysis and business insights.
• Exploring and benchmarking data solutions to fulfill the business stakeholders' requirements.
• Participating in internal initiatives that explore cutting‑edge tools or concepts to build prototypes that may add value to our customers.
• Designing best practices and transmitting know‑how to the client teams.

We are looking for AI Engineers to join our Data & AI team, which is working on some of the most complex and rewarding projects in Generative AI, Intelligent Applications, Business, and Operational Use Cases with ML that exist in the country.

Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing to an AI team that designs, deploys, and monitors end-to-end Machine Learning or Generative AI backed solutions
• Cleaning, processing, and assessing different data sources to extract valuable analysis and business insights.
• Exploring and benchmarking data solutions to fulfill the business stakeholders' requirements.
• Participating in internal initiatives that explore cutting‑edge tools or concepts to build prototypes that may add value to our customers.
• Designing best practices and transmitting know‑how to the client teams.

You must have:

• Fluency in one programming language (e.g. Python)
• Skill in data discovery and transformation employing SQL-like languages.
• Understanding of GenAI concepts (prompt engineering, chains, agents, etc.)
• Familiarity with packages like Langchain, LlamaIndex or others
• Fluency in Portuguese.

We value:

• Data Science/AI Engineering Certifications.
• Knowledge and experience with MLOps concepts and practices.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (Azure/GCP/AWS).
• Experience working with container based environments (Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud-based solutions)
• Experience working with web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Practice in distributed processing frameworks such as Spark or Apache Beam
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical, and business audiences.
• Fluency in English
