Infraspeak, a Porto-based Intelligent Maintenance platform, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function and elevate reporting. You will work closely with the FinOps team and report to the Head of Finance, serving as the go-to expert on technical accounting and tax topics to support rapid growth.

You will own consolidations, coordinate audits, manage R2R processes, and drive tax and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with a global team.

Qualificações

• Certification as Contabilista Certificado (Portugal)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for finance analytics and strategy
• Knowledge of finance systems and tools beyond Sage X3
• Able to interface with stakeholders in a cross-functional, international team
• Experience with audit, tax, reporting and legal compliance

Responsabilidades

Why does the team need you?

Infraspeak operation is booming, and this means new daily customers and higher volume and complexity by the day.

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to support and lead the accounting function and to help us elevate our reporting to the next level. In close proximity with the rest of the FinOps team, and reporting directly to the Head ofFinance, you'll be expected to be the go-to person for technical accounting and tax topics and to leverage those skills to boost Infraspeak's growth path.

What will you do?

Core Accounting & Reporting

• Take full ownership of periodic consolidations and annual reporting

• Coordinate with external accountants and lead audit interactions to maintain smooth, reliable operations.

• Lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) lifecycle, ensuring transactional data structure supports multi-dimensional reporting and analytics.

Operations & Tax Management

• Oversee expense classification, document verification, invoicing workflows, and routine tax inquiries.

• Initiate and lead high-impact finance projects, including process refactoring, tax optimization, vendor selection, and grant applications.

Strategy, Process & Systems

• Balance the speed and agility of a fast-growing tech company with the rigor, structure, and precision of a modern accounting function.

• Partner with the Finance Director to optimize core financial workflows and operational efficiency.

• Grow with the team and lay the foundations to scale our global accounting operations as the company grows.

What do we expect from you?

• Certification as Contabilista Certificado in Portugal

• Working knowledge as bookkeeper of at least 2 years (two annual closings) in Sage X3

• Passion for finance analytics and strategy, and good business acumen

• Solid and versatile track record in finance support processes, legalities and decision-making (e.g. audit, tax, accounting, reporting)

• Knowledge of different finance systems and tools (software, apps, online reporting platforms)

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Economics, General Management or other relevant field will be valued

• Be a team member with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with different stakeholders and partners, and collaborate in a cross-functional and international team environment

• Effectively meet the strategic goals and operational efficiencies and tasks set by you and the Finance Director.

• Fluent English language skills

• Keep learning: learn new technologies/techniques and trends, and don’t be afraid of trying something new.
