Randstad Digital Portugal is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee group accounting controls and ensure robust governance across regional finance teams. You will implement and monitor control plans and drive remediation of audit findings to uphold financial integrity.

You will also lead governance committees, produce clear reports for senior management, and build transparent partnerships with regional finance and central offices to support regulatory compliance and cross-border

Qualificações

• Experience in financial control and accounting supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full implementation, monitoring, and quality of the Group Accounting Control Plan and Infinity Platform procedures across all assigned regional Finance teams and entities.
• Define, tracking, and timely execution of remediation action plans arising from control failures, operational risk incidents, or audit recommendations.
• Lead quarterly Internal Control Committee (FORCC) meetings, contribute to the Accounting and Financial Risk Committee (AFRiC), and ensure full adherence to cross-functional Group Control Plans.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of accounting certificates, delivering concise, accurate reports on control setup quality and deficiencies to Senior Management and governance bodies.
• Build strong, transparent, and trusted partnerships with Regional Finance teams, central Head Office units, and process stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid track record in financial control, accounting supervision, internal audit, or 2nd Line of Defense (LOD2) frameworks, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of accounting control set-ups, financial reporting cycles, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring recommendations from General Inspection, Internal/External Auditors, and financial regulators.
• Proven ability to lead formal governance committees, present complex findings clearly to executive stakeholders, and manage cross-regional relationships effectively.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management; fluency in English is essential for cross-border collaboration.
