Job summary

Flix is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Engineer to join on a freelance/service agreement basis (B2B). You will design, build, and maintain AWS-based integrations connecting Workday HRIS with internal and external systems.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, and vendors, implement secure data exchange and CI/CD, and apply IaC to provision cloud resources. English fluency is required; German is a plus, and the role is open to Poland-based contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating HRIS and payroll systems (Workday, Deel, Greenhouse)
• APIs: REST, SOAP, JSON/XML
• AWS + IaC (Terraform)
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Secure data exchange incl. SFTP, encryption, access control
• Fluent in English; German a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based integrations between Workday HRIS and internal/external systems
• Architect and maintain event-driven and API-based workflows
• Develop integration services with Python and data transformation/mapping
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC for reproducible infra
• Ensure GDPR compliance and secure data handling
• Collaborate with HR/Finance/IT to translate business needs into integration designs
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance in dev/test/prod environments
• Provide technical guidance to other developers
