Job summary

Fyerx is seeking a WordPress Web Developer for hourly, remote freelance work. You will design, build, and maintain custom WordPress sites for internal initiatives and client brands, ensuring performance and SEO best practices.

Collaborate with marketing teams, designers, and clients to turn concepts from Figma or Adobe XD into scalable interfaces, and perform routine maintenance and security updates on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional WordPress development experience with a strong portfolio.
• Extensive experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Experience with page builders Elementor or Gutenberg and third‑party API integration.
• Strong knowledge of web security best practices, responsive/mobile-first design, and UI/UX fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites for internal and client projects.
• Develop, customize, and configure WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Collaborate with marketing strategists, UX/UI designers, and clients to translate concepts into pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Perform regular site maintenance, including core updates, security patches, and backups.
