A digital solutions firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join their team on a project basis, potentially transitioning to a full-time role. This remote position involves developing custom WordPress solutions and collaborating closely with in-house designers and project managers. Ideal candidates should have over 4 years of experience in WordPress, master PHP and ACF, and possess a solid understanding of GitHub workflows. Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of PHP and ACF.
• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Cloudflare Workers.
• Solid GitHub workflow knowledge (PRs, branches, deployments).
• Familiarity with Linux-based servers.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP and ACF.
• Build, test, and deploy features using GitHub workflows.
• Write and manage Cloudflare Workers for site optimization.
• Integrate with external APIs and use the WordPress REST API.
• Optimize sites for speed and security.

Skills

Hands-on WordPress development experience
