Job summary

Capgemini in Poland is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to support day-to-day operations of Windows-based infrastructure. You will work in the Wintel team to keep systems stable, secure, and up-to-date, collaborating with cross-functional teams on incident resolution and performance improvements.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, security hardening, and DR readiness, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth through extensive training tracks and certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and core Windows services.
• Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies.
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; ITIL/ITSM knowledge is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications; familiarity with Azure cloud is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Manage core services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Wintel environments.
• Support and maintain virtualized environments (VMware).
• Ensure security compliance through patching and system hardening.
• Collaborate with network, backup, security, and application teams.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery activities and testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow ITIL/ITSM processes.

Your role

You are responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and support of Windows‑based infrastructure, helping ensure systems are stable, secure, and running smoothly. As part of the Wintel team, you work closely with other engineers to resolve issues, maintain core services, and support critical business environments. You take an active role in troubleshooting, improving system performance, and keeping the environment up to date.

Your tasks

Your profile
