Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Wintel and Linux Product Architect to define the architecture strategy for enterprise Windows and Linux platforms across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will lead modernization efforts, establish governance, and drive IaC initiatives with global teams, shaping platform roadmaps and driving cloud adoption.

Remote work within Europe is supported, with strong collaboration across regions and a clear path for professional growth in a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in infrastructure engineering or architecture roles.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, DNS, and identity services.
• Experience with enterprise Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Hands-on with VMware and hybrid cloud.
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS.
• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Networking, storage, security, and resiliency fundamentals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

What You Will Do

• Define and evolve the architecture strategy for enterprise Windows and Linux platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives focused on scalability, security, resilience, and automation.
• Establish architecture standards, governance models, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with Cloud, Security, Networking, Application, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and platform consistency.
• Design highly available and resilient platforms supporting globally distributed business services.
• Own technical decision-making for server infrastructure architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Lead performance optimization, capacity planning, and lifecycle management activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned to business objectives.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise identity services.
• Experience supporting enterprise Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, virtualization technologies, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS infrastructure services.
• Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, infrastructure security, and resiliency principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Azure, or Linux-related certifications.
• Experience leading infrastructure transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices.
