Job summary

Jabil in Europe seeks a Wintel and Linux Product Architect to define and drive the architecture strategy for enterprise server platforms across on‑prem, cloud and hybrid environments.

You will lead infrastructure modernization, set governance, and collaborate with Cloud, Security, Networking, and Application teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and automation across global services.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise identity services.
• Experience supporting Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, virtualization technologies, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS infrastructure services.
• Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, infrastructure security, and resiliency principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture strategy for enterprise Windows and Linux platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives focused on scalability, security, resilience, and automation.
• Establish architecture standards, governance models, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with Cloud, Security, Networking, Application, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and platform consistency.
• Design highly available and resilient platforms supporting globally distributed business services.
• Own technical decision-making for server infrastructure architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Lead performance optimization, capacity planning, and lifecycle management activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Review and approve designs, Architecture Decision Record, and solution architecture proposals through architecture governance processes.
