Job summary

AFRY Management Consulting in Kraków is looking for a Plant Design Engineer to work on water treatment projects, collaborating with our Helsinki team and clients in Finland. You will contribute to mechanical and piping design, equipment selection, and project documentation.

You will use AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Vertex in a hands-on role, support multi-project delivery, and grow as part of a global team focused on sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and piping design for water/wastewater plants.
• Proficiency with 3D plant modelling and layout techniques.
• Familiarity with equipment specification and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D plant design and modelling, including equipment layout and process piping.
• Develop piping and mechanical design solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and design documentation.
• Participate in all project phases: Pre-engineering, Basic engineering, Detailed engineering.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations, particularly with Finland.
• Ensure high-quality, accurate design delivery across multiple projects.
