Job summary

KION Group in Kraków seeks a Cyber Security Engineer (Vulnerability Management) to drive the enterprise vulnerability lifecycle with hands-on testing, platform engineering, and automation. You will advance offensive security techniques and AI-driven detection within global IT and cloud environments.

The role blends penetration testing with platform development, delivering scalable security workflows and actionable remediation guidance across infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or IT Security or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of cybersecurity experience with hands‑on vulnerability management, pen testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and application security principles.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.
• Understanding of enterprise IT and cloud technologies.
• Scripting or automation experience (e.g. Python).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal penetration testing engagements across infrastructure, web apps, APIs and cloud environments.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability assessments with broad coverage and risk context for remediation prioritization.
• Architect, operate and enhance the vulnerability management platform and scanning infrastructure.
• Design and implement automation strategies to optimize detection, assessment and remediation workflows.
• Develop security tooling and platform integrations to support vulnerability management capabilities.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to promote secure design patterns and automation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and standards.
• Deliver reporting and metrics on vulnerability trends and remediation progress.
