Job summary

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) seeks an experienced Business Technology Risk Advisor – Vice President to support leadership in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry methodologies for evaluating and improving processes, tools, and data frameworks, with relevant technology experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or related discipline.
Advanced degree preferred and 10+ years in risk management with leadership or advisory capacity.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of process enhancements aligned with business objectives.
Own regulatory remediations within the area supported; support SMEs with closure documents and approach to closure.
Assist in planning and executing projects aimed at risk reduction.
Apply re-engineering techniques to improve process efficiency, product quality, and data governance.
Collaborate on metrics development and use data to drive performance improvements.
Partner with second and third lines of defence to ensure alignment with risk management and control goals.
Implement and oversee data management and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
