Job summary

Cognizant in Gdańsk is seeking a Visual Designer to create cloud graphics and marketing materials that follow brand guidelines. You will produce vector illustrations, infographics, and data visuals for slides, decks, and collateral.

Work in a hybrid setup with a focus on consistent visuals across media, from print to digital and social. Requires Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and strong design fundamentals; familiarity with PowerPoint and Google Workspace is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Design or related field.
• Proven ability to create high-quality vector illustrations.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
• Strong understanding of design principles, layouts, infographics, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication to translate requirements into brand-compliant visuals.
• Nice to have: interactive design, UI design, team coordination, video editing, and Google Workspace.

About the role

As a Visual Designer, you will be in charge of creating Client’s cloud graphics and digital materials to the brand guidelines and style standards including, but not limited to, Slides, Graphical Assets and Marketing materials (Cloud Learning Services). As a Visual Consultant, you will be working on Visual Design strategies to produce solutions like Infographics, Data Visualization, Gamification, Design Slides, Marketing materials/collaterals, Logo designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original, high-quality vector illustrations that support Client’s training content, marketing, and product design initiatives.
• Maintain a consistent and cohesive visual style across all illustrations.
• Adapt illustrations for various mediums, including print, digital, and social media.
• Creating library of images & illustrations.
• Developing design, updating visual storyboards, creating skill badges, slides, data sheets, and other graphic assets.
• Enhancing the training content/slides/deck visually as per agreed branding and standards, Slide decks and Video storyboards - updating existing slides of training content to meet client’s brand standards and accessibility requirements.
• Working closely with Program Manager located onsite.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Design or a related field.
• Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Design, or equivalent academic/professional experience.
• Proven ability to create high-quality vector illustrations in various styles.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience working with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
• Strong understanding of design principles, graphic design, page layouts, infographics, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate requirements into brand-compliant visual solutions.
• Nice to have: experience in interactive design, UI design, team coordination, video/audio editing, and Google Workspace.
