CD PROJEKT RED is seeking an Engineering Manager in Warsaw to lead a gameplay engineering team focused on animation, locomotion, and camera systems for The Witcher 4. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with designers and QA, and shape technical priorities to deliver exceptional gameplay experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, deep Unreal Engine (UE5) proficiency, and clear communication in English. Hybrid in Warsaw with a comprehensive relocation package supports this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Unreal Engine experience, ideally on AA/AAA titles.
• Strong knowledge of locomotion, animation, and camera systems.
• Proven leadership of a development team of ~7 members or similar scale.
• Credited on at least one shipped AA/AAA title in a lead or management role.
• Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a gameplay engineering team to deliver core systems.
• Design and implement gameplay features including locomotion, animation, and camera.
• Develop tools and debugging utilities for gameplay development.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, QA, and other teams to deliver engaging gameplay.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, maintainable code.
