Job summary

Flying Bisons is a Warsaw-based strategic design and digital consulting group seeking senior UI/UX talents for remote collaboration. You will define visual direction, lead design processes, and ensure brand consistency across products for high-impact projects.

The role emphasizes strong portfolio, excellent communication, and proactive problem solving. Works in a remote, contractor setup with access to modern tools and cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Extraordinary skills in layouts, grids, UI patterns, color theory, typography.
• 3+ years of documented commercial experience.
• Extensive portfolio of commercial projects.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Polish (B2+/C1).
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive attitude, you solve problems and figure things out.

Responsibilities

• Define the visual direction and style for digital products, including typography, colour, UI patterns, and design systems.
• Lead and direct the design process for a wide range of products.
• Develop brand identity and guidelines ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
• Lead UI projects and direct design from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, facilitate workshops, and present concepts (PM support).
• Improve workflows, establish internal design processes, and maintain visual standards.
• Collaborate with designers and interdisciplinary team (researchers, strategists, writers, developers).
• Create marketing and communication materials.
• Mentor junior and mid UI designers, providing training and support.

Scope of services

• Defining the visual direction and style for digital products, including typography, colour, UI patterns, and design systems
• Leading and directing design process for a wide range of products
• Developing brand identity and guidelines while ensuring consistency across all product and brand touchpoints.
• Leading UI projects and directing the design process from concept to delivery
• Collaborating directly with clients, facilitating workshops, and presenting design concepts and solutions (with PM support)
• Improving workflows, establishing internal design processes, and maintaining visual standards
• Collaboration with other designers, as well as with the interdisciplinary team (researchers, strategists, content writers, developers)
• Creating marketing and communication materials
• Logo design or refinement, if required (nice to have)
• Mentor junior and mid UI designers, providing training and support

• B2B cooperation for independent contractors
• Suggested commercial range: Mid 12 000 - 15 000 PLN net + VAT per month, Senior 15 000 - 19 000 PLN net + VAT per month
• Remote cooperation.
• Cooperation in an Apple and Google Workspace-based environment
• Access to selected project tools, systems and environments where required for project delivery, security or client compliance
