Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include tackling different problems from a wide array of domains, including:

• Procedural Generation
• Optimization of Engine and Game systems for mobile platforms
• Tools Development
• Problem solving for mobile environment

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++, with ability to work across multiple tools as needed (e.g. Unreal, custom data API)
• Understanding of games development in UE
• Familiarity with mobile platforms development and tools (Xcode, Android SDK)
• Worked on Unreal Engine project for mobile platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in gameplay, tools and optimization areas
• Experience with modifying Engine code
• Fluency in spoken and written English (B2, C1+ preferred)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques in Unreal Engine
• Experience with Houdini, including HDA development and procedural workflows
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine’s PCG, Editor framework, Slate and Blueprints
• Complex system design skills
• Rendering knowledge
