Transportation Planning Leader

Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków is seeking two Team Leaders to drive transportation planning and execution across OpCos in their cluster. You will lead a team of Planners, ensure SLA adherence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in Supply Chain, 2+ years of people leadership, strong English and cross‑functional communication, and solid knowledge of MS Office and transport systems like OTM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in Supply Chain.
• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team.
• English language required; second language advantageous (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian).
• Good understanding/experience with OTM.
• Understanding of transportation rules, regulations, standard processes and business policies.
• Ability to communicate to all levels, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
• Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experienced in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage transportation planning and execution for all OpCos in their cluster, engaging stakeholders.
• Partner with external customers, OpCo transportation, customer service, and supply planning teams.
• Ensure SLAs are met and resolve OpCo-side issues.
• Manage Planners by reviewing and improving resources continuously.
• Collaborate with CI team to implement operational and system improvements.
• Evaluate cluster planning performance.
• Review shipments to ensure planning and on-time delivery.
• Oversee daily transportation planning activities: load consolidation, mode shifts, route optimization.
• Optimize transportation based on input from planners and CI/CPI team.
