Job summary

Capgemini is looking for a Transition Manager to engage in multiple projects during the tender phase. You’ll create and estimate transition plans while leading transitions from clients to Capgemini. Strong project management experience, including certifications like PMP® or PRINCE2®, and knowledge of Agile methodologies are required.

Your role

As a Transition Manager you will be engaged in multiple projects during the tender phase, where you will work on proposals by creating and estimating transition plans and working as part of a Bid Team. You will have the opportunity to lead and execute transitions from clients or vendor to Capgemini.

Your tasks

• Planning of service transition during the sales process;
• Preparation of the transition plan and estimation of costs, as well as presenting those to the client;
• Management of the project taking over the service from the client or incumbent provider;
• Full responsibility for the project including planning, budgeting, execution, and control;
• Management of project team including technical experts;
• Communication and reporting of the project status for internal and external stakeholders on different levels;
• Close cooperation with the client.

Your profile

• You have experience as a Project Manager in projects of different sizes and complexity, especially in IT area;
• You have experience in managing international project team;
• You have PMP® and/or PRINCE2® certifications or experience with Waterfall projects;
• You have knowledge of Agile methodology;
• You have great organizational skills;
• You are a self‑starter, able to act under pressure and good at communication on different levels;
• You speak advanced English and German;
• You would like to grow in the role of a Transition Manager.
