Job summary

TSMG Holding is looking for a Tools Specialist to join the Geo Ops team in Kraków. You will act as a liaison between the Operations team and Engineering, ensuring smooth technical functioning of tools and platforms used by Geo Operators and PMs.

The role involves diagnosing tool issues, coordinating releases, testing fixes, and developing new dashboards or tools as needed. Strong scripting (Python/SQL), ArcGIS experience, and weekend availability are important.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar domain.
• ArcGIS desktop and ArcGIS server experience.
• Python and SQL scripting experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Technological savviness.
• Availability to work on the weekends (1-2 week days/month).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem-solving.
• AI literacy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technology expert for Geo Operators and Program Managers, removing technical obstacles and resolving user-reported problems.
• Work closely with GDO program management and software engineering teams to file bugs, elevate issues, ensure reproducibility, and communicate user issues.
• Coordinate tool releases and new updates (as needed).
• Test tool fixes/changes/new features for engineers.
• Submit code changes for tools (as needed).
• Develop new tools/Dashboard as needed by the teams.
• Diagnose global geo problems related to software/Linux.
• Respond to support tickets for technical issues and perform debugging, analysis, and elevate bugs promptly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve tools and/or hardware problems: Diagnose and resolve complex problems discovered in tools/ products,
• Act as a technology expert for Geo Operators and Program Managers, removing technical obstacles and resolving user-reported problems,
• Work closely with GDO program management and software engineering teams to appropriately file bugs and elevate issues, ensure reproducibility, and communicate user issues,
• Coordinate tool releases and new updates (as needed),
• Test tool fixes/changes/new features for engineers,
