Job summary

TSMG Holding seeks an Imagery Ingestion and Processing Specialist to ensure data quality and support operations for aerial data. You will assess, pre-process, and modify 2D/3D imagery and derivatives (DSM/DTM, Orthophotos, Mosaics, 3D city models) across first and third party sources.

Responsibilities include processing raster datasets, monitoring production, and collaborating with engineering to automate processes. Strong GIS skills and scripting experience are required for efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in the Geospatial industry
• High school graduate or Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in GIS/Geospatial/Remote Sensing
• Hands-on experience with GIS software like ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS or equivalent; experience with 3D modeling tools
• Experience with scripting languages (shell, Python, Perl, JavaScript)
• Experience with SQL, focusing on dashboarding
• Experience creating and styling thematic maps
• Exposure to photogrammetry technology and software
• Technological savviness for geospatial products and services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to operate at all levels
• Able to work independently, proactive with learning and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Processing and analyzing global-scale raster datasets
• Monitor daily production and quality of data sets
• Interpret data to recognize trends and potential problem areas
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure data flows through pipeline to production
• Plan and execute daily operations to meet project goals
• Interface with engineering teams to improve and automate operations
• Maintain process documentation and suggest improvements
• Identify drivers of latency and quality issues and develop solutions
• Prioritize data sets to meet SLA/SLO for critical regions
• Monitor bug queues and address issues with fixes
