Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to design and execute tests for enterprise web applications, including SharePoint/SPFx/React with .NET Web APIs. You will perform API and performance testing, manage test artefacts in Azure DevOps, and align acceptance criteria with business owners.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document results, and potentially lead test efforts on smaller projects.

Qualifications

• Certification or 3 years of test design experience at a similar position.
• Experience testing enterprise web apps (SharePoint / SPFx / React + .NET Web APIs).
• API testing with Postman and basic performance testing with JMeter.
• Managing test plans, suites, cases and defects in Azure DevOps with traceability.
• Ability to work with business owners for acceptance criteria and UAT.

Job description

Duration: 12 months with possibilities of extension

Required certificates

At least 1 certification among:

• or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
• or 3 years’ experience in test design above required Minimum experience at similar position"

Knowledge and skills

• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the ""minimum experience at similar position""

• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

Specific requirements

• Proven functional, regression and acceptance testing of enterprise web applications built on SharePoint / SPFx / React with .NET Web APIs, including API testing (e.g. Postman) and basic performance testing (e.g. JMeter)
• Hands‑on management of test plans, test suites, test cases and defects in Azure DevOps Test Plans / Boards, with traceability from requirements and user stories to test results and to the commits/pull requests fixing the defects
• Experience in taking over a test asset base from a third‑party contractor (test‑case inventory, regression suites, environments) and in verifying a Definition of Done that includes security‑scan and penetration‑test findings
• Ability to work with business owners on acceptance criteria and UAT organisation; availability for a knowledge‑transfer period."
