Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking a QA/testing specialist to lead testing across front-end and back-end SharePoint solutions. You will design and execute test plans, develop environments, and document results to ensure project quality.

Strong communication and documentation skills are required, with experience in SDLC processes and complex systems. Responsibilities include test strategy, plan creation, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with analysts, architects, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise across testing types: unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, and regression testing.
• Experience designing test environments and test management processes.
• Hands-on testing of complex systems and setting up test environments for new projects.
• Experience in establishing test management tools for new projects.
• Ability to create comprehensive test documentation.
• Proven leadership of testing efforts in complex projects.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes.
• Experience testing SharePoint front-end/back-end and data integrations.
• Experience testing SharePoint Online solutions.

Job description

Knowledge and skills:

01] Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing

02] Expert in designing test environments

03] Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position"

04] Experience in setting up test management tool for new project.

05] Experience in providing test documentation.

06] Experience in leading testing in complex project

07] Practical knowledge of testing tools.

08] Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly

09] Presents excellent communication and documentation skills

10] knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.

Specific requirements:
