Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking a Test Expert for a hybrid nearshore engagement in Warsaw, Poland. The candidate will lead testing strategy, design test environments, and develop/execute test plans for complex SharePoint-based solutions.

The role requires 5+ years IT experience with 4+ years as a Tester, Level 6 education, and English at B2 level. Freelancers are welcome; daily rate 210–240 EUR within a dynamic, learning-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Expert in testing including unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance and regression testing.
• Expert in designing test environments.
• Hands on experience in testing complex systems per profile requirements.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently seeking a talented Test Expert on behalf of a major European organization.

Working model: hybrid (nearshore)

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Seniority: 5 yrs of IT experience, 4 yrs of experience as a Tester

Education: Level 6

English: B2

Salary range: 210 – 240 euros daily rate as freelancer

Duties

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities
• Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment
• Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts
• Validate and document completion of testing and Development
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
• Contributes to quality assurance in the project
• Documents tests and tracks defects
• Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends
• Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing
• Expert in designing test environments
• Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the “minimum experience at similar position”
• Experience in setting up test management tool for new project
• Experience in providing test documentation
• Experience in leading testing in complex project
• Practical knowledge of testing tools
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experienced in testing front-end and back-end solutions developed on SharePoint on-premise
• Experienced in SharePoint data integration solutions
• Experienced in testing SharePoint On-line solutions
• At least 1 certification among: ISTQB Advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority) or 3 years of experience in test management above required minimum experience at similar position
