Job summary

Billennium is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a long-term project for a leading healthcare organization. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, and develop automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests across frontend and backend services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and best practices, while driving automation initiatives and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in test automation.
• Proven ability to independently design, build, and develop test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and developing automated tests.
• Very good knowledge of TypeScript.
• Practical knowledge of PyJS and openpyxl.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and npm/npx.
• Experience with Claude / Claude Code, including setting up rules and instructions.
• Experience in test automation for frontend, backend and REST APIs.
• Ability to design end-to-end, integration, regression, functional, and API tests.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to structure scalable, modular test automation code.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test design, and defect reporting.
• Ability to work independently, plan and execute tasks, and troubleshoot issues.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
