Job summary

Accenture Poland is seeking a strategic IT Finance professional to shape technology value across large client engagements. You will work at the intersection of IT, finance and strategy, supporting clients in improving transparency, decision-making, and governance of technology spend.

The role emphasizes IT cost modeling, TBM/FinOps practices, and collaboration with senior stakeholders. A hybrid working model is offered, with opportunities to travel to client sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps or related areas.
• Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in consulting or transformation projects and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support IT Finance / TBM / FinOps transformations for large organizations.
• Assess IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity; define improvement roadmaps.
• Design and improve IT cost models, service costing and allocation mechanisms (showback/chargeback).
• Help clients implement or optimize tools such as Apptio to enable better visibility and governance.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across IT and Finance to align on priorities and solutions.
• Translate complex financial and technology data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-makers.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT, Finance and Strategy, supporting clients in building transparency, improving decision‑making and driving real business outcomes from technology spend.

• Supporting IT Finance / TBM / FinOps transformations for large organizations
• Conducting assessments of IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity, and defining actionable improvement roadmaps
• Designing and improving IT cost models, service costing and allocation mechanisms (showback / chargeback)
• Helping clients implement or optimize tools such as Apptio to enable better visibility and governance

• Supporting the development of governance, processes and ways of working in IT Finance / FinOps areas

This is a strategic, client‑facing role focused on shaping how organizations manage technology value.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps or related areas
• Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting and IT finance processes
• Experience working in consulting, transformation projects or cross‑functional environments
• Ability to connect business, finance and technology perspectives
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (storytelling + structured analysis)

Nice to have

• Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or FinOps frameworks
• Exposure to tools such as Apptio or other IT cost management solutions
• Experience in designing cost allocation models
• Familiarity with cloud cost management concepts
• Relevant certifications (e.g. FinOps, TBM)

• Traveling to work with prestigious clients and deliver large‑scale transformational change. We deliver our work in hybrid model, remotely, in our offices but also traveling and working closely with our Clients in their offices. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. That is why traveling declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.
