Job summary

Citi’s Summer Technology Analyst Program offers hands-on experience in Infrastructure Management and Software Development across Java/Spring, React, and data analytics tools. You’ll join a cohort focused on building scalable, high-performance IT systems and advancing Citi’s technology landscape.

Participants engage in structured learning, on-desk training, and networking opportunities, with potential to transition into Full-Time Analyst roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Graduation between Dec 2027 and July 2028.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or related tech field.
• Strong problem-solver with interest in Generative AI and innovative solutions.
• Willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones; good communication and leadership.
• Experience with agile teams is desirable; ability to pass technical interviews with basic algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure components including data centers and server rooms.
• Ensure stability, availability and performance of technology infrastructure.
• Manage capacity planning and growth for computing and storage resources.
• exposure to Microservices Developer, Front-End, AI, and Data Analytics tracks within Citi teams.
• Work on real-world projects across global teams to drive digital banking and security initiatives.

Technology Infrastructure in Citi provides critical technical foundation to the firm and is responsible for delivering reliable IT solutions, scalable infrastructure services, and secure capabilities while creating a trusted customer experience and enabling Citi's workforce to be the best for our customers. From its position at the heart of the firm,

Technology Services is responsible for creating and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that underpins the Company's global operations. This includes physical facilities, network connectivity, computing resources, and data management. Additionally, the team develops and manages the essential tools and platforms that enable Citi employees to perform their roles efficiently across the globe.

You will be working on Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain physical infrastructure components, including data centers, server rooms, and associated hardware. Ensure stability, availability, and performance of all technology infrastructure. Manage capacity planning and growth for computing and storage resources.

While technologies can vary slightly from team to team, Analysts will have exposure within the following categories:

• Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Front-End Web Development: React or Angular, Apigee TypeScript, HTML5
• Generative AI & AI Agents: GitHub Copilot with various models, Citi Squad (automated code reviews), Devin.AI (Agentic Code generation), Prompt Engineering, Workflow Design, GenAI Optimization, Stylus Workspaces (In-house Gemini)
• Data Analytics: Utilizing tools like Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products.

To join Citi, you should meet the following criteria:

• Graduation between Dec 2027 and July 2028.
• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other tech related degrees.
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives on innovation and embraces challenges with enthusiasm, leveraging Generative AI to address complex business problems and create novel solutions.
• Possess a global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
• Have excellent communication skills, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within diverse teams.
• Ability to pass technical interviews consisting of basic algorithmic programming exercises.
• Must be collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. Prior experience working in agile teams is desirable.
• Work Authorization: Authorized to work in Poland without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
