Job summary

Wlgroup, a multinational defence organisation, is seeking a candidate to identify emerging technologies and develop the technology advantage enabler. This role involves producing deliverables and updating vision documents for a shared understanding across teams.

You will analyze how technologies support lines of development and prepare the first action plan. You will report to the project manager and sponsor, building a community of interest while working in professional English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, ICT, engineering or related discipline.
• At least two years acquiring and interpreting research and technology information.
• Knowledge of national science and technology sources.
• Experience judging how future technology applies in a military environment.
• Ability to work analytically on technology documentation and build adoption examples.
• Proficiency with office tooling and open-source research.
• Fluent professional English.

• Supporting the definition of initial and full operating capability.

• Reporting to the project manager and sponsor on progress against the action plan.

What you would bring

• A bachelor degree from a recognised university in computer science, information and communication technology, engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years acquiring, assembling and interpreting research and technology information.
• Knowledge of national science and technology sources.
• Experience judging how future technology applies in a military environment.
• The ability to work analytically on technology documentation and build practical adoption examples.
• Comfortable with office tooling and open-source research.
• Fluent professional English.

This is a long engagement that renews year on year, not a short project.
